Description

From Berlin by boat to the old hanseatic city Stralsund. Cycle when you please.

From the metropolis Berlin with its extended forests in the north along Oder-Havel canal via Oranienburg and Eberswalde to Schwedt.

Through the silent beauty of the Oder landscape to Polish Stettin with its precious palace.

Then, along the unique coast via Usedom to the biggest island in Germany, Rügen with famous chalk cliffs. The end of your journey is the old hanseatic city Stralsund.

Mostly you cycle on car-free paths, country roads and asphalted bike paths and on sandy field and forest paths, shorter sections also along main roads. The route is mostly flat, in parts hilly, some steeper climbs and descents have to be managed. If you do not want to cycle you can also stay on board.
